Hole in one by the Captain…..

Captain Cook has sailed many times into the unknown....Last weekend was a pioneering moment as well, as Paul Cook became the first Club Captain to have an ace in his year of captaincy!

Paul is rarely shy of standing at the bar, but on Saturday 14th August he found that he was one of the most popular Captains the club has ever had!! Paul struck a beautiful 9 iron which avoided/was deflected by a number of canada goose poo's as it rolled back down the hill and into the hole!!

That is the 8th recorded ace of the year so far and was paul's first ever ace....
